Welcome to CrossRoad Boston 2!
We’re excited to share our first update from the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross. After months of preparation, participants have officially arrived, settled into their dorms, and begun their CrossRoad journey.

This year, our Boston 2 participants traveled from 18 states across the country—from Alaska to Florida, Washington to Delaware, and many places in between. They arrived eager to meet one another, make new friends, and embrace the challenge of CrossRoad.
Throughout the day, CrossRoad staff welcomed participants at Logan Airport and on campus, helping everyone get settled, unpacked, and oriented to life at Hellenic College Holy Cross. By dinner time, names were becoming familiar, conversations were flowing, and the first friendships were already beginning to take shape.

After attending Vespers together in the Holy Cross Chapel, participants gathered for icebreakers, games, and introductions. There was plenty of laughter, a little awkwardness (as expected!), and lots of excitement as everyone got to know the community they’ll be sharing for the next ten days.

Later in the evening, the CrossRoad staff introduced the group to the journey ahead. Participants learned about the three stages of the CrossRoad experience, each centered around a fundamental question:
Stage 1: Who am I?
Stage 2: Who is God?
Stage 3: Who is my neighbor?
Over the coming days, participants will explore these questions through lectures, discussions, worship, service, and community life.
This week also marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in our summer season, as our Southern California session begins on Monday. With participants gathering on both coasts, the CrossRoad Summer is officially in full swing!
We’ll continue sharing updates throughout the session, and photos from each day will be posted on our Flickr page. Be sure to check in regularly and follow along with the CrossRoad experience.
We are so grateful for this wonderful group of young people and for the families who entrusted them to our care. Please keep our participants, staff, and all of our summer sessions in your prayers as we begin this journey together.
