Welcome to CrossRoad!
We’re excited to share our first update from the campus of Hellenic College Holy Cross. After months of preparation, participants have officially arrived and our 2026 session is underway!
Students traveled from 17 states across the country—from California to Maine, Florida to Washington, and many places in between—and arrived excited, curious, and ready to take on the challenge of CrossRoad.
While part of our staff team spent the day greeting participants at Logan Airport, others were on campus helping everyone get settled into their dorms, find their way around campus, and start getting to know one another. We attended Vespers together in the Holy Cross Chapel before gathering for dinner and our first round of icebreakers. There was plenty of laughter, a little awkwardness (as expected!), and the beginning of what we know will become meaningful friendships.
Later in the evening, CrossRoad Director Micheal Lumbard welcomed the group and introduced them to the journey ahead. He spoke about the courage it takes to seek God in today’s world and shared the framework that will guide our time together over the next ten days. The program unfolds in three stages, each centered on a big question:
Stage 1: Who am I?
Stage 2: Who is God?
Stage 3: Who is my neighbor?
Over the coming days, participants will explore these questions through lectures, discussions, worship, service, and community life.
